What are xStocks?
xStocks are digital tokens designed to mirror the value of leading U.S. company shares. Each token tracks its respective underlying asset. Issuance and collateralization follow the Issuer’s documentation; minor tracking deviations may occur
xStocks follow the price movement of real shares but do not grant shareholder rights. You don’t receive voting rights or dividend payouts. They are built for speed and accessibility:

You can buy, sell, and store tokenized assets directly in EMCD. On-chain deposit and withdrawal features will be added later
No. xStocks are digital tokens that track the value of real shares but are not the shares themselves. External transfers/redemptions are not supported unless announced in future updates

xStocks is issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited, a private limited company registered in Jersey. The xStocks Instruments become available to EMCD clients through EMCD Fintech Corp. (‘EMCD’), a company established and regulated under the laws of the Republic of Panama, via the EMCD platform.
